Stinson Vineyards 2016 Rosé

90 points

High-toned aromas of strawberries and juicy ripe watermelon are joined by notes of tomato garden and grilled rosemary. Medium bodied and with moderate alcohol (11.5%), the palate shows similar front fruitiness that turns decidedly savory thanks to notes of tomato leaf and Provencal herbs. Mouth-watering, citrusy acidity provides terrific freshness and focus.

One of my favorite rosés, year in and year out, and one that is ideally suited to dinner duty -- particularly Thanksgiving dinner.
