Chankaska Creek Winery 2015 "Lone Oak Tree Vineyard" Marquette Reserve

86 points

Ripe, almost opulent fruit aromas and flavors range from bramble to cherries to blueberries notes of milk chocolate, black pepper, and baking spice. More structured than most Minnesota Marquette, it's almost chewy on the mid-palate. The alcohol (14.8%) does peek out a bit on the medium-length finish.
