Macari Vineyards 2017 "Early Wine" Chardonnay

88 points

Every year, this Chardonnay nouveau is the first taste we get of the recent vintage. It crackles with acidity and offers aromas and flavors of lime, green apple and citrus blossom. There’s a gentle sweetness here, but all that fresh acidity helps it finish dry. It's the kind of wine that will appeal to a wide range of drinkers. I like this wine the fresher the better. Don't let it sit in your cellar past the spring.
