King Family Vineyards 2017 Crosé

88 points

Fresh watermelon and strawberry aromas are made much more interesting by notes of peach, fresh-cut grass, and green peppercorns -- which is more delicious than it might sound.

Medium-light bodied, the palate is more fruit focused without losing the more savory notes, tasting like the juiciest watermelon you can imagine drizzled with a little lime juice. Though dry, there is a fruit sweetness here that works nicely with the fresh acidity. The finish is medium-short, but still fresh and refreshing.
