Fero Vineyards 2017 Saperavi

90 points

Intense and pure on the nose with ripe black cherry and blackberry fruit backed by faint notes of toasted oak.

The medium-bodied palate brings a punch of juicy fresh black fruits. The fruit flavors are ripe with a monolithic bit of tannin and acidity that brings structure (and food-friendliness). It's not expansive or complex at this stage in its development, but that should change with time in bottle.
