Keswick Vineyards 2017 “Block 7” Reserve Cabernet Franc

Keswick Vineyards 2017 "Block 7" Reserve Cabernet Franc

At first, the nose shows mostly earthy and savory notes – which remind you that this is cabernet franc and serious cabernet franc at that – but with some time in the glass, beautifully ripe, intense black cherry and blackberry aromas unfurl beautifully.

Wearing it's 14% abv quite well, the medium-full body palate offers a pure beam of cabernet franc deliciousness. Layers of cherries and dried leaves and blackberry and savory herbs live within a red that shows silky, supple tannins and just a bit of fresh acidity.

Drinking beautifully right now, I'm really curious to see how this wine evolves in the bottle over time.
