Hunt Country Vineyards 2017 Reserve Cabernet Franc

89 points

This tiny production (48 cases) reserve cabernet franc is light on its feet, but not lacking in aroma or flavor.

Bright red berry fruit aromas – cranberries, strawberries and raspberries – are accented by notes of dried herbs, button mushroom and a certain earthy dustiness that is common in Finger Lakes cabernet franc. Ligher bodied, the palate bursts with fresh red berries, hints of autumnal leaves and dried savory herbs.
