Honeydew melon, lemon peel, and Bosc pear fruit aromas are accented by notes of white flowers and spiced nuts. The oak is deftly integrated on a medium-bodied palate that balanced ripe fruit flavors of melon, pear, and under-ripe tropical fruits with subtle nuttiness and spice.
The mouthfeel is both juicy and gritty, with an excellent acidic backbone and a long, gently nutty finish.
Perhaps the single best value in East Coast chardonnay, it over-delivers for $21.
