As you’d expect from anything in the muscat family, this wine is incredibly floral, but it also shows layers of sweet citrus and rainwater minerality.
Flavors of ripe apricot, more sweet citrus, and all those flowers are enlivened by fresh, juicy acidity. Muscat can be over-the-top, but the earthy, nutty edge from the lees keeps that in check and brings another layer of complexity. There is a subtle textural quality from the lees as well, but it’s not significant.
