Lincoln Peak Vineyard co-owner and winemaker Chris Granstrom filed this 2016 harvest report earlier today:
“Much as I love to complain — like any other farmer — I have to say that this was a very good year. We had a big crop — our biggest ever — and we also had the heat and sun to ripen it, so quality was good.
Harvest season was warm and dry, so we got everything into the winery on time and nice and clean. The wines are all off to a good start, so things are pretty much all good around here.”
