Suhru Wines NV Brut
Though labeled non-vintage, the website says that the 85% chardonnay and 15% pinot noir was harvested in 2015 and that the wine was bottled in 2016.
The nose is reminiscent of fresh-cut pears and green apples and shows a subtle yeastiness at the edges. Fresh and fruit forward, the palate is similarly dominated by apple and pear flavors, but there's a little peach too -- and a squirt of lime juice on the finish, which is medium-long and shows a little spicy lees quality too. It's dry but not too dry -- and is sure to appeal to a wide range of drinkers.
