Left Foot Charley 2016 Dry Riesling

Left Foot Charley 2016 Dry Riesling

91 points

There are hints of diesel on the nose that bring some interesting complexity to a nose dominated by peach, lime zest and soft apple aromas.

Focused and pure, the palate is juicy and nervy with crystalline grapefruit and lime flavors backed by hints of peach and a spicy edge. Long, and juicy, the finish is dry, focused and begs another sip.

This wine is a great reminder that the Finger Lakes don't have a monopoly on great riesling in America.
