Karamoor Estate 2016 Chardonnay

Karamoor Estate 2016 Chardonnay

87 points

Green apple, pear and grilled lemon aromas are joined by a distinct gunflint note on the nose here.
Though not super concentrated, the palate shows nice acidity to bring some focus to bright apple and citrus flavors. That low percentage of new oak is a bit more present on the palate. Along with bright fruit there are flavors of blonde caramel and toasted nuts on a gently creamy mid-palate. The finish is long with lots of apple character.
