Liten Buffel 2017 “Parking Lot;” Pinot Noir

Liten Buffel 2017 "Parking Lot;" Pinot Noir

90 points

Savory on the nose. There are layers of aged balsamic, salt-roasted beets and dried strawberries with a sprinkling of dried herbs and citrus zest.

There is a bit more fruit on the lithe palate in the form of fresh-crushed strawberries and red cherries, but also stem nuances and a distinct note of gravelly soil. Complex and lively, it turns a bit floral as it warms with some orange peel peeking through as well.

This would have been in my wine club if it hadn't sold out quickly.
