Heron Hill Winery 2017 Reserve Pinot Blanc

Though the nose is somewhat muted, there are notes of citrus zest, wet slate and under-ripe melon. More of that melon comes through in a medium-bodied, balanced palate along with juicy pear and just a little nuttiness from three months on the lees. A bit more concentration would be nice, but it’s still a nice, balanced white that will appeal to a lot of different wine drinkers.
