Osmote Wines 2018 Seneca Lake Chardonnay

92 points

Honeydew melon, lemon peel, and Bosc pear fruit aromas are accented by notes of white flowers and spiced nuts. The oak is deftly integrated on a medium-bodied palate that balanced ripe fruit flavors of melon, pear, and under-ripe tropical fruits with subtle nuttiness and spice. The mouthfeel is both juicy and gritty, with an excellent acidic backbone and a long, gently nutty finish.

Perhaps the single best value in East Coast chardonnay, it over-delivers for $21.
