Toasty and oak-born spicy at the edges, the nose shows a nice core of ripe blackberries and blueberries with subtle plum too.
Similarly spicy, the medium-bodied palate has that same rooted core of ripe black and blue fruits, with toasty, nutty oak, and subtle autumn leaf complexity. The tannins are somewhat soft, resulting in a soft, supple mouthfeel.
