The nose shows sweet strawberry and peach fruit aromas, but also distinct notes of dried bay leaf and sage. Those same savory qualities carry over to a medium-bodied palate that is fresh, with juicy, citrusy acidity.
The fruit flavor here is centered on strawberries, with hints of earth, spice, and savory herb.
This isn’t a beach/boat/pool rose. This is a rose that you’ll want to drink with food. Grilled fare is a good foil and I think Thanksgiving dinner might be a nice combination as well.
