This estate-grown sauvignon blanc from Blenheim Vineyards has a bit of a New Zealand feel to it. The nose shows lots of gooseberry and passionfruit with bright grapefruit zest notes and a bit of curry leaf and lemongrass.
Fresh and medium-bodied, the palate is more passionfruit-driven with the citrus and gooseberry qualities taking a half-step back. Fresh acidity and slightly glycerine feel on the mid-palate provide nice mouthfeel leading into a long finish that is all grapefruit and grapefruit pith.
