There is a slightly earthy/mushroom accent to red raspberry and cherry aromas here that brings a little complexity and lets you know that this wine is predominantly pinot noir. The palate is more fruit-driven with cherry, raspberry, and a little nectarine. It’s dry with green apple acidity, but a bit softer than the winery’s sparkling pinot blanc. The result is an approachable sparkling wine that is will appeal to a wide variety of wine drinkers.
